Embrace the Unfamiliar
At the ripe old age of 69, don’t tell me there’s not enough time left for me to change the world. I’ve already made contributions that I’m quite proud of, but I have a lot more work to do.
These contributions have been possible because of my insatiable curiosity.
Sure, I’ve been called crazy over the years, but it’s this insanity that’s led me to founding several companies (see sidebar below) and developing a diverse background of expertise.
The purpose of this blog is to give me a place to share this expertise and to cultivate new ideas while I’m still above ground.
I’ll cover whatever topic I’m currently obsessed with but I’ll devote most of my writing to these three areas where I believe I have some unique insight:
- How to effortlessly reach and maintain your perfect weight (I started my career as a pharmacist and I’ve published a comprehensive home-study course on weight, nutrition, and fitness)
- How to be seen as the recognized authority in your market niche (I have an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and have been involved in expertise marketing for over 35 years)
- How to prevent and better manage conflict (I founded and help run a conflict management licensing, training, and consulting company that serves large organizations throughout the world)
Despite baby boomers being the butt of too many jokes these days, I believe I still have enough synapses firing that you will find my insights of value.
